Stately, strong, ancient. I feel privileged to live among these beautiful, unique beings. When I moved to Arizona from Oregon as a young teenager, I was mesmerized by the saguaro. They were odd and even eerie, especially compared to anything I’d seen in Oregon! I still am struck with awe and wonder at their beauty. In this painting, they seem to stand together, almost like a chorus, displaying their “voices” in ancient harmony.
